The Mill Hill Jazz Club has been providing live jazz music of the highest standard to North West London for over 8 years. The Jazz Club is for everyone with a passion for live jazz, blues and soul. We have had the pleasure to play host to some of the best jazz artists in the world at this London Jazz club, and to provide our patrons with world class jazz at a fraction of the price they would pay in the West End. If you like jazz, the Mill Hill Jazz Club is the place to hang out. Every Wednesday from 8.30pm (see the What's On section for more details).

If you recently came down to visit us and enjoyed one of our jazz evenings, why not drop us a review at:

Located within walking distance of Mill Hill Broadway Thameslink station, the jazz club is easy to get to from all over London and the South East.  It is held at the Mill Hill Sports Club, every Wednesday from 8.30pm. For directions click here.

On a sad note, we would like to pay tribute to the late Humphrey Lyttelton. As I am sure many of you will know, Humph who has died at the age of 86, was an influential jazz musician, an acclaimed broadcaster and a raconteur with a wonderful wit. It was a great privilege to have had Humph as a patron of the Mill Hill Music Festival over all the years, and especially to have played host to him and his band on two occasions. The organisers of the Festival and Jazz Club would like to send their deepest sympathies to his family. To read more about this great musician and broadcaster, The Guardian newspaper has published George Melly's article on Humph here as an obituary.

Over the years the club and its bi-yearly Summer Jazz Festival have played host to the likes of such greats as Humphrey Lyttelton, Scott Hamilton, Stacey Kent, and many more well known and up and coming stars.

The Jazz Club was set up by Paul Amsterdam in 1999, with the ethos of bringing quality live Jazz to North West London without the high costs usually associated with many other jazz establishments. Since then the club has had many an intimate night with some of the best live jazz musicians providing some world class entertainment.

The Mill Hill Sports Club provides a great bar and warm atmosphere, so why not come down and join us after a hard day at work or break the week up, every Wednesday. Come down, relax and enjoy some live music. We have a wide choice of genres, from traditional to funk, from soul to fusion. Whatever your taste you will be able to listen to some great music up close and personal and most of all, definitely LIVE!

If you like Jazz and play an instument, be it a saxophone, trombone, trumpet, clarinet, double bass, drums, flute, guitar, piano, keyboards, banjo or even flugelhorn why not join us and bring your favourite instrument to one of Val's Jam Nights - held the last Wednesday of every month (check the what's on section to confirm).
